With a decisive victory in the semi-finals, Al Nassr is riding high, and Ronaldo’s fourth goal in the tournament has not only propelled his team into the finals but also solidified his position as the top scorer.

The Arab Club Champions Cup, often dubbed the “Champions League” of the Arab world, gathers teams from 22 Arab nations. This year, the tournament is held in Saudi Arabia, providing a golden opportunity for Al Nassr to showcase its formidable strength and reach the pinnacle of the competition.

In the gripping semi-final match against Al Shorta, the home team, Al Nassr, dominated the field. Ronaldo showcased his brilliance, finding the net after a beautiful assist from another newcomer, Brozovic, in the 31st minute.

Despite the initial disallowed goal due to offside, Al Nassr’s attacking stars, including Mane and Talisca, kept up the pressure but struggled to find the back of the net.

The turning point arrived in the second half, with VAR (Video Assistant Referee) once again playing a crucial role. Mane was fouled in the penalty area in the 75th minute, leading to a penalty kick that Ronaldo confidently converted.

This goal marked his fourth in the tournament, having previously scored against Monastirienne (Tunisia) and Zamalek (Egypt) during the group stage, as well as contributing to Raja CA’s elimination in the quarter-finals.

This victory not only showcased the offensive prowess of Al Nassr but also highlighted the superb performance of goalkeeper Nawaf, who made a crucial save in the 90th minute, securing the narrow 1-0 win.

With this triumph, Ronaldo and his teammates are set to face Al Hilal in the Arab Club Champions Cup final at 01:00 on August 13. Al Hilal, having defeated Al Shabab 3-1 in the other semi-final, poses a formidable challenge.

Al Hilal is a force to be reckoned with, boasting a record 18 national championships and 4 AFC Champions League titles.

They have twice claimed victory in the Arab Club Champions Cup.

With a lineup featuring 8 national team players and quality foreign talent such as Kalidou Koulibaly, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ruben Neves, and Malcom, Al Hilal is a formidable opponent. In their recent encounter on April 19, Ronaldo and his teammates suffered a 0-2 defeat against Al Hilal, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the upcoming final showdown.
