In recent years, Neymar’s annual salary at PSG has been estimated at £31.6 million (approximately $39.3 million) after contractual adjustments in 2021. However, his new contract with Al-Hilal is poised to shatter that total amount.

As per the latest update from CBS Sports, the United Arab Emirates have proposed a 2-year contract for Neymar with an annual salary of £172 million (approximately $219 million).

Will Neymar Earn More Than Kylian Mbappe?
If these figures hold true, Neymar will outshine Cristiano Ronaldo’s annual salary of £213 million ($173 million) at Saudi Arabian rival Al Nassr, making him the highest-paid footballer globally.

It will also surpass Mbappe, who currently stands second on the list with reported earnings of £96 million ($110 million) at Parc des Princes.

However, as part of their efforts to retain him, PSG may offer Mbappe a deal that will see his pay rise once again in the upcoming months.

Despite persistent attempts to lure the French national team captain, PSG remains pragmatic in their chances of keeping Mbappe away from Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window, seeking to avoid his departure on a free transfer.
