Al-Hilal’s Jaw-Dropping Offer for Mbappe: What’s the Price Tag?

The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga has taken an unexpected twist as Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia steps into the fray with a jaw-dropping proposal, aiming to make the French forward the world’s most expensive player.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al-Hilal has officially submitted a staggering offer of $300 million to PSG to secure Kylian Mbappe’s services. If both PSG and Mbappe give their approval, this would shatter the previous transfer record set by Neymar in 2017 at $220 million. While Mbappe’s response to this enticing offer remains unknown, PSG has allowed Al-Hilal to open negotiations with the French striker.

The $300 million transfer fee is only part of the equation; when it comes to wages, it would reach a staggering $830 million per year for the outstanding French talent. On average, if Mbappe were to join Al-Hilal, he would earn $17.3 million per week, $2.3 million per day, $200,000 per hour, $3,000 per minute, and $55 per second. Such a move would undoubtedly turn Mbappe into a money-making machine if he were to accept the offer to play in Saudi Arabia.

Interestingly, Al-Hilal is even willing to accommodate Mbappe’s dreams of joining Real Madrid in the future. The Saudi Pro League team is prepared to let the 24-year-old star depart in the summer of 2024, fulfilling his desire to move to the Spanish giants. Mbappe now faces the possibility of being “benched” during the 2023-2024 season if he stays at Parc des Princes. Hence, Al-Hilal’s offer couldn’t have come at a more opportune moment for the talented forward.

Al-Hilal’s aggressive pursuit of top players has already seen them secure the likes of Ruben Neves from Wolves, Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, and Sergei Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in recent months. Adding Mbappe to their roster would undoubtedly elevate them to domestic dominance, where other clubs may struggle to land such a superstar. While past legends like Ronaldo at Al-Nassr and Benzema at Al-Ittihad have graced the league, their careers were on the decline during their Saudi Arabian stints. Al-Hilal, in its current ambitious phase, is set to deliver groundbreaking transfers.

Currently, Real Madrid is willing to enter the fray with an offer of around £160 million, and they are simply waiting for PSG to release the player this summer. The complicating factor lies in the strained relationship between PSG’s owner, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez. If Mbappe insists on leaving as a free agent in 2024 for an easier move to Real Madrid, PSG might opt to sell him to Al-Hilal to recoup their investment and avoid any further headaches.

As Mbappe is not partaking in PSG’s pre-season tour in Asia, his future remains uncertain. Should he remain sidelined during PSG’s Ligue 1 match against Lorient on August 13, fans may have to brace themselves for the potential departure of their beloved star from the Parc des Princes.

“Mbappe will not be able to compete in the race for the Ballon d’Or if he goes to the Arab region.”
