Victor Osimhen, who is supposedly valued at at least €200 million by Serie A champions Napoli, will apparently be a target for Real Madrid in 2024.
Victor Osimhen joined Napoli from LOSC Lille in September 2020, and since then, he has established himself as one of the top performers in Serie A. The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium experienced some growing pains with the Nigerian international. However, since gaining a firm foothold, he has not turned around.
The 24-year-old is a prolific goal scorer who helped Napoli overcome their lengthy Serie A title drought. Osimhen has carried on from last season’s success, scoring three goals in as many games. However, the player’s steady improvement could cause problems for Napoli because numerous prestigious teams are interested.
Several prominent suitors pursued the former Wolfsburg striker during the summer transfer window. Osimhen has also reportedly been linked to Arsenal and a few other Premier League teams in recent reports. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, one of the top teams in La Liga, is also interested in him.
Mbappe’s future, though, is up in the air, and he may shortly agree to a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain. In order to strengthen their offense, the Merengues are keeping their options open, with Osimhen surfacing as a potential candidate. However, Napoli will expect a premium and plaster a price tag of over €200 million on the 24-year-old to get rid of him.Given that they were willing to pay such a lot for Mbappe last year, Real Madrid might not have any qualms about spending €200 million to secure Osimhen’s services.
