Manchester United’s Potential Move for Marc Cucurella: An Urgent Solution to Defensive Woes
In a surprising turn of events, Manchester United (MU) has initiated contact with Chelsea regarding the possibility of securing a loan deal for Marc Cucurella, a promising left-back. Sources suggest that MU’s pursuit of Cucurella has gained momentum following injuries to both Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, their primary left-back choices. Malacia is expected to return next month, but there’s still uncertainty surrounding Shaw’s recovery timeline, causing a headache for coach Erik ten Hag.
During their dramatic comeback victory against Nottingham Forest, Diogo Dalot, a right-back, was deployed as a makeshift left-back.
