The Red Devils are among the most active clubs in this summer’s transfer market, having already spent £200 million on three key acquisitions as they aim to return to their former glory.

However, their ambitions don’t end there. There are two significant targets that Man United aims to secure before the end of August: Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich and Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina. To achieve these targets, the club needs to offload players who are not in the plans of Coach Erik Ten Hag for the upcoming season. The amounts generated from the sales of players such as Alex Telles, Anthony Elanga, and others have fallen short of the funds spent by the Red Devils’ leadership. Consequently, the club is now aggressively working to sell additional players.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Man United is looking to offload seven players during the remainder of the summer transfer window. The list of players reportedly includes Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Fred, and Harry Maguire. If the club successfully transfers all seven players, they anticipate a revenue of up to £145 million. This not only provides the necessary budget for essential signings but also addresses wage concerns, ensuring compliance with financial fair play regulations.

As of now, both Fred and Harry Maguire have been confirmed to be joining new teams. Negotiations for Van de Beek and Scott McTominay are reportedly progressing positively with the potential buyers. Meanwhile, Dean Henderson and Brandon Williams, who have attracted significant interest in the market, are expected to be sold at a slightly higher price.

The upcoming transfers of Pavard and Amrabat represent Manchester United’s commitment to strengthening their squad while also ensuring a sound financial footing. The club’s proactive approach to these moves showcases their dedication to building a formidable team, both on the field and in financial stability. As the transfer window unfolds, the Red Devils’ strategic decisions will shape the course of their upcoming season.
