PSG Doesn’t Need Mbappe to Win the Champions League
In his latest statement, former PSG Sporting Director Leonardo advised PSG to let go of the 1998-born forward. He stated, “For the benefit of PSG, I believe it is time for Mbappe to leave. PSG existed before Mbappe arrived, and life will continue after his departure. Mbappe has been with PSG for six years, yet they still haven’t won the Champions League.”
“This means that PSG doesn’t need Mbappe to win the Champions League. His performances over the past two years prove that he is not a true leader. He is a talented player, a clinical finisher, but he lacks the ability to lead the entire team. It is difficult for PSG to build their style of play around Mbappe,” he added.
